54-year-old Man Arrested in Surrey

A 54-year-old man was arrested in Surrey in connection with the murder of his brother and three others in the French Alps.

Saad al-Hilli and his wife Iqbal, from Claygate, Surrey, her mother Suhaila al-Allaf and French cyclist Sylvain Mollier were shot dead on September 5. The family was on a holiday when they were shot. Zaid al-Hilli, Saad’s brother was arrested as he was associated with the killings. He denied having any feud with his brother.

Mr. and Mrs. al-Hilli’s daughters survived the shooting. 4-year-old Zeena was found under her mother’s body inside the family’s vehicle eight hours after the shooting occurred while her 7-year-old sister Zainab was found with serious head injuries after being shot and beaten up.
