Homeless Man Indicted for Habitual Drunken Driving

Brandon Keoki Quintal, a 36-year-old , has been indicted by the Kona grand jury for habitual DUI. Habitual DUI is a Class C felony and it is punishable by up to five years in jail.

The jury charged Quintal with habitual DUI, driving after license suspended or revoked for DUI, driving after license suspended or revoked, and driving without a license and insurance. His bail was set at $2,000. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop at the intersection of Kawaihae Road and Ouli Street in Waimea.
