Lawmaker Pleads Not Guilty to DUI Charge

A North Dakota state representative, who was charged with DUI has pleaded not guilty in Cass County Court.

Kelsh didn’t appear at his arraignment. Instead, his attorney entered into a not guilty plea on his behalf to the single DUI B misdemeanor.

Kelsh was charged with DUI sometime in November. He has been in the state legislature since 1996. During the legislative session earlier this year, Kelsh was one of those who voted for more stringent DUI laws.
