Man Charged of DUI May Spend 15 Years in Jail

A man who was accused of DUI and killing a well-known southern Indiana philanthropist entered a guilty plea in court.

Wesley Bradshaw, 32 years old, has been in prison since the November 2011 crash on State Road 111 near New Albany. He crossed the center line then got slammed into the car driven by Duke Energy manager Kevin Hammersmith, according to police. Hammersmith was rushed to the hospital but later died.

Bradshaw will get a 15-year sentence with 12 years to serve and 3 years of suspension.
