Two Arrested in Convenience Store Armed Robbery

Two males have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store in Davenport. One of the suspects is a juvenile.

Dwayne Mac Hodges Sr., 23 and Jeremiah Dixon, 17, are each charged with one count of first-degree robbery. According to the arrest affidavit filed by the Davenport Police detective Mark Dinneweth, the two suspects entered the store and displayed a pistol, pointed at the clerk, and demanded money as well as cigarettes.

With the help of police K-9 officer named Yari, the two suspects were caught and recovered were pieces of clothing, store merchandise, and an airsoft weapon.
